1st convocation of Aamir kaleemi Arabic College
1st Convocation of Aamir kaleemi Arabic College was held successfully on the 15th of November 2015 at GGA Campus near Sunguvachatram on the outskirts of Chennai. Honourable Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Mr. Mufti Muhammad Sayeed attended as chief guest and presented Maulvi Aalim Degrees to the students and delivered his convocation address.
Former Union Minister for Railways Mr. C.K. Jaffer Shareef released the 1st Convocation Souvenir of Aamir Kaleemi Arabic College and delivered his felicitation address. Chancellor of the college and Sajjada Nashin of Silsila e Aamiria Hazrath Allama Syed Mohammed Razaul Haq Aamiri Sahib gave the welcome address. The function was presided over by Dr. Syed Mohammed Nasiruddeen Jeelani Sahib. Vote of thanks was given by the Chairman of S.A.K Group of Educational Institutions Peerzada Hazrath Syed Manzoor Ahmed Aamiri Sahib. Dua was done by Dr Mufti Salahuddin Mohammed Ayub Sahib, Government Chief Qazi, Tamil Nadu.
Maulana M. Shaik Abdullah Jamali, Maulana Dr. V.S. Anvwar Badushah Ulavi and Maulana A. Khaja Mueenuddeen Jamali were awarded with Aamir Kaleemi Award for their outstanding service to the society by the Chief Guest.
Aamir Kaleemi Arabic College is a Pioneering Modernized Madrasa in Tamilnadu offering Quality Dual Education in a Single Platform. i.e. offering Maulvi Alim degree with graduation in arts and Science courses. Incepted in the year 2007 at Triplicane and shifted its operations to the sprawling campus of GGA in the year 2009. Twenty three students were conferred with Maulvi Aalim degrees and 2 were conferred with Hafiz e Quran Certificates.
It can be seen that the convocation was held during heavy rains in Chennai but was attended by the Honorable Chief Minister, Jammu & Kashmir Mufti Muhammad Sayeed and Former Union Minister for Railways C.K Jaffer sharief and other dignitaries which showed their love towards the founder and management of the college and its students.
On the same day and venue from 6 pm onwards Urs sharief of the Founder of the College who is the descendent of prophet Sallahu alaihi wassalam and 30th great grandson of Hazrath Ghousul Azam Mohiuddeen Raziallahu tala anhu, Shamsul Muffassireen Syed Muhammad Umer Aamir Kaleemi Shah Rahmatullahialai was celebrated. Both the functions were attended by thousands of Devotees travelling from different parts of the nation even in the heavy rains that lashed the city of Chennai out of immense love of their beloved Shaik.
